I take it you posted this because of the low score on your most recent piece (Cute Blue Wolf)?
I think Tofelium, who gave you a two-star review, did word his critique a little harshly but his point was acceptable: he simply advised you to add some shading to make it pop a little more.
From what I've seen, NG is full of constructive reviewers and supportive creators, and you can't judge the entire site's response to your art based on a few zero-bombers. You also can't expect to please everyone when it comes to art in general.
I personally feel that your art is very good (I have to credit your lovely rendition of Midna).
